Do pictures of starving children make you want to do something? Are all of these earthquakes and floods making you wish you could actually help? Feel overwhelmed by the world's problems, but you want to make a difference anyway?

Come to our training! We can help you start on the road to making a real impact in your world. Not only will you get training, but you'll have a chance to go OVERSEAS and DO something with it!

On Nov. 14th, we'll spend the day imparting the basics of HISG's successful, proven models of international disaster relief and community development, and we'll give you information about our community development trips this summer for YOU to use your training.

Learn the difference between relief and development, an emergency and a true disaster. Find out the phases of a disaster and the types of responders who go to each. See what it takes to be a true responder - how they prepare, what they deal with, and how they can open the door to development.

Have your paradigm of helping third world countries shifted - learn how aid isn't always helpful and how many organizations are partnering with communities rather than just giving handouts. Learn about the comprehensive, integrated approach used by HISG to bring real, lasting change for the communities they impact - and get insight on how you can be a part.

The cost is just $20 - notes, coffee/tea and lunch are included. If you want to come, click on REGISTRATION and give us your information.

We want to mobilize you to change your world!
