Earthquakes. Floods. What can one do in a time of crisis? Poverty. Lack of basic needs. How can one assist another in breaking that cycle and in moving towards self-sufficiency?

Come to our training! We can help you start on the road to making a real impact in your world.

On March 27th, GHNI SFU will be hosting our training session. We will spend the day imparting the basics of HISG's successful, proven models of international disaster relief and community development.

Learn the difference between relief and development, an emergency and a true disaster. Find out the phases of a disaster and the types of responders who go to each. See what it takes to be a true responder - how they prepare, what they deal with, and how they can open the door to development.

Have your paradigm of helping third world countries shifted - learn how aid isn't always helpful and how many organizations are partnering with communities rather than just giving handouts. Learn about the comprehensive, integrated approach used by HISG to bring real, lasting change for the communities they impact - and get insight on how you can be a part of.

The cost is $25 - notes, coffee/tea and lunch are included. Space is limited so click on REGISTRATION and sign up now!

We want to mobilize you to change your world!
